Though Jiiva’s Gypsy was wrapped up long ago, it didn’t get through the censor formality as the board advocated several cuts following which the issue was taken to the Tribunal.

There were also reports that there are some scenes in the film that resemble the issues that happened in the Yogi Adithyanath government in Uttar Pradesh, which was the only reason behind the Censor board’s disapproval.

Now, the makers of the film have announced that the film is all set to hit the screens on March 6 along with Sibiraj’s Walter. The film also stars Natasha Singh, Lal Jose, Sunny Wayne and Susheela Raman in pivotal roles. This film marks the debut of Lal Jose and Sunny Wayne in Kollywood. Bankrolled by Ambeth Kumar under his banner Olympia Movies, Santosh Narayan is composing the tunes for this flick.
