CHENNAI: On Saturday, the makers of Vijay’s Jana Nayagan unveiled the trailer of th film. Helmed by H Vinoth, the star cast includes Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, Priyamani, and Mamitha Baiju, among others, in key roles.

The two-minute 52-second trailer promises a complete commercial package, with high-octane action. The video starts with a great elevation for Vijay’s character, Thalapathy Vetri Kondan. With great action sequences and performances by great performers, the trailer has become an instant hit among the fans and has increased the expectations. It also slightly touches upon a few political takes, and the trailer ends with the words, Let’s Rise Together.  

As Jana Nayagan marks Vijay’s last film before foraying into his political life, the audio launch and tribute to the actor took place in Malaysia recently, drawing fans of the actor from across the country together. The first look and title of the highly anticipated project were unveiled in January.

Produced by Venkat K Narayana, Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music. Sathyan Sooryan is the cinematographer, while Pradeep E Ragav will oversee the cuts.

Jana Nayagan is slated to hit the screens on January 9.
