WASHINGTON: Actor and producer Jamie Lee Curtis got emotional as the shooting for her fantasy comedy film 'Freakier Friday' has almost wrapped up. She also expressed gratitude to her co-star Lindsay Lohan, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Taking to her Instagram handle she shared that there are only a few days left on the set of her film with her "ultimate movie daughter," Lindsay Lohan.

'Freakier Friday' is an upcoming American fantasy comedy film directed by Nisha Ganatra and written by Jordan Weiss.

It is a sequel to 2003 film 'Freaky Friday'.

Jamie Lee Curtis, Lindsay Lohan, Mark Harmon, Chad Michael Murray, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Stephen Tobolowsky, Lucille Soong and Rosalind Chao are all set to reprise their respective roles from the original film, with Julia Butters and Manny Jacinto joined the cast.

"The last FRIDAY of this FREAKIEST FRIDAY or shall I call it CRYDAY. We still have a couple days left next week, but it's winding down and this morning as I arrived at work and looked at the hundreds of people gathering together to make it for the fans, shooting the movie in California, I'm feeling especially grateful to my ULTIMATE movie daughter, @lindsaylohan without whom we could not have made this movie. Ever."

Jamie shared what Lohan gifted her. "She gifted me a @suziekondi shirt after I complimented her on hers and I wore it today in honor of her. Off to wig and work. Thanks for all the @disneyd23 LOVE! It was LEGENDARY!"

In 'Freakier Friday' Curtis and Lohan will reprise their characters Tess and Anna respectively. In the sequel, Anna now has a daughter and a soon-to-be stepdaughter.

Curtis and Lohan recently appeared at Disney's D23 fan event on August 9, where they spoke about the sequel to the 2003 film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
