CHENNAI: Actor Jai, who has half a dozen projects on hand, is now busy shooting for Superstar Rajinikanth’s 169th film, Jailer.

The actor came on board the film recently and has begun shooting his portions.

A tinseltown source told DT Next, “Jai will be playing a crucial role in the film. The screen time will be less, it is an impactful character. He will wrap up his portions in the next few days.”

Apart from this, Jai recently wrapped up the shooting of the film produced by Lyca, which is yet to be titled.

Sources also say that he will resume the shoot of his long-pending project with Gopi Nainar of Aramm fame. The actor will be seen in Sundar C’s Coffee With Kaadhal that is hitting the screens on October 7.

He also has Breaking News in which he plays a superhero and another untitled project with director Rohin Venkatesan.
