CHENNAI: Known for his performance in Dhadak and Pippa, Ishaan Khatter is gearing up to make his Hollywood debut with the Netflix series, The Perfect Couple.
The six-episode series is helmed by Susanne Bier and is based on the book by Elin Hilderbrand. It also stars Nicole Kidman, Dakota Fanning and Billy Howle, among others.
The plot revolves around Amelia Sacks, who is about to marry into one of the wealthiest families. Her disapproving future mother-in-law has spared no expense in planning what promises to be the premiere wedding of the season — until a body turns up on the beach. As secrets come to light, the stage is set for a real-life investigation that feels plucked from the pages of one of Greer’s novels.
The Perfect Couple is set to premiere from September 5.
