Jailer 2, the much-awaited sequel to the blockbuster Jailer, is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and will see Rajinikanth reprising his iconic role. Bankrolled by Sun Pictures, Anirudh Ravichander is returning to compose the music. Many iconic stars from different industries are expected to be a part of the film. Jailer 2 is slated for a theatrical release later this year.

Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) is an upcoming Tamil romantic comedy directed by Vignesh Shivan, featuring Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles. Blending romance with fantasy, the film revolves around a man who uses a unique gadget to travel to 2035 in his quest to find true love. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

Headlined by Prabhas, Fauzi is a period war drama set in the 1940s, chronicling the journey of a soldier against the backdrop of a turbulent era. The film is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi of Sita Ramam fame, and also features Anupam Kher and Mithun Chakraborty in pivotal roles. Fauzi is slated for a theatrical release later this year.

Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups


Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups is an upcoming period gangster action-thriller set in 1980s Goa, revolving around the rise of a dangerous drug cartel. The film features Yash in the lead, alongside Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Rukmini Vasanth and Huma Qureshi, and is directed by Geetu Mohandas. Shot in Kannada and English, KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations are jointly backing the project. Toxic is slated for a theatrical release on March 19.

Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel are joining hands for Dragon. The ensemble cast features Anil Kapoor as the formidable antagonist, with Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead, alongside Tovino Thomas and Biju Menon in key roles. Set against a periodic timeline, the emotionally charged saga unfolds in 1969, in the region where the borders of India’s Golden Triangle, China, and Bhutan converge, weaving together interconnected lives in a grand cinematic canvas.

Starring Ram Charan in the lead, alongside Janhvi Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, and Jagapathi Babu, Peddi is a Telugu action-drama set in 1980s rural Andhra Pradesh, where a spirited villager unites his community through sports to defend their pride against a powerful rival. The film is written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, in association with Mythri Movie Makers. Peddi is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 27.

The Paradise


The Paradise marks the second collaboration between Nani and director Srikanth Odela after Dasara. Produced by SLV Cinemas, the Telugu action epic is set in 1980s Secunderabad and follows a marginalised tribe’s fight against discrimination and for citizenship under an unexpected leader. The film releases on March 26, in eight languages.

Rashmika looks fierce in the first look of Mysaa

Mysaa stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead, and the film is an action thriller set in tribal lands, following a fierce woman unafraid of war and driven by a lifelong quest for a single, haunting answer. Written and directed by Rawindra Pulle, the film promises a gripping narrative. Mysaa is produced by Unformula Films and is slated to hit theatres this year.

Headlined by Nikhil Siddhartha alongside Samyuktha, Swayambhu is a fantasy-drama thriller that traces the journey of an emperor who ushered in a golden age in history. Directed by Bharat Krishnamachari, the film is backed by Pixel Studios. Mounted as a grand tribute to India’s rich heritage and timeless glory, Swayambhu is set for a worldwide release on February 13, coinciding with Maha Shivaratri.

Nagabandham - The Secret Treasure


Virat Karrna and Nabha Natesh play the lead roles in the film, which explores India’s ancient Vishnu temples and the mysterious ritual of Nagabandham. The story uncovers hidden secrets and sacred traditions, offering a profound glimpse into the spiritual world of these revered sites. Directed by Abhishek Nama, the film is set to hit theatres this summer.
