CHENNAI: We had earlier reported that the National award-winning team of Soorarai Pottru will be teaming up once again for a film that will be backed by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment. The latest is that the film directed by Sudha Kongara will have Suriya in the lead role. Moreover, this film is likely to be GV Prakash’s 100th film as a composer. Having started his career with Veyil in 2006, the composer-actor is expected to sign this movie as his 100th. After winning his first National award for Soorarai Pottru, GV told DT Next that Sudha has always been his dear friend. Now we hear that he wants his 100th film to be in such a successful combination that swept away National awards under various awards earlier this year. GV has his hands full this year and has Sardar, Captain Miller, Vaathi, Siren and Mark Antony in various stages of production. The award-winning composer also has Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency. The latest is that he has been roped in for Karthi’s next with director Raju Murugan that’ll be produced by Dream Warrior Pictures.

GV has Idimuzhakkam directed by Seenu Ramasamy and an untitled film that will be produced by Kavithalaya Productions, in which he plays lead roles.
