Ganesh Venkatraman upbeat about his Bollywood debut

Model-turned-actor Ganesh Venkatraman shot to fame in K’wood with Trisha’s Abhiyum Naanum which released in 2008. However, the actor went on to become an household name post his stint with the popular reality show Bigg Boss season 1 and is currently working on two Tamil films.

Now, it looks like, the actor is all set for his debut in Bollywood with a film titled Guns of Banaras, the remake of hit Tamil film, Polladhavan, directed by award-winning filmmaker Vetri Maaran. Sources say that he has already completed shooting for the film and he will be reprising Daniel Balaji’s role in the original.

On Thurday, the actor took to Twitter to reveal that he will be seen playing a negative role in the film. The ‘Young Guns’ are ready to FIRE. Cant wait to show u guys what a badass i am in #GunsOfBanaras My Debut in #Bollywood in a kickass negative role.”(sic) Interestingly, Ganesh is also working on a Tamil film, directed by popular film crtic and comedian Yugi Sethu.
