Recently, music composer GV Prakash Kumar performed a music piece on Thiruvasagam in front of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during the Pongal celebrations in New Delhi. The first song from the divine rendition will be unveiled on January 22.

Thiruvasagam is one of Tamil literature's most exalted spiritual masterpieces. GV Prakash’s soul-stirring vocals and innovative composition revived the text’s devotional fervour in a fresh, contemporary idiom.

Meanwhile, GV Prakash’s recent milestone is the Parasakthi film, which marks his 100th film as a music composer. As an actor, he has Mental Manadhil, Immortal and Happy Raj in the pipeline.
