Talking about the poster with DT Next, the director of the film Sri Ganesh said, “The film revolves around a beautiful friendship between Atharvaa and the little girl. The story is set in Madurai and is a gangster flick. However, Kuruthi Aatam will not have a regular template and will be an unconventional flick.” Ganesh also added that the film will have intricate details of Madurai’s culture that will add to the film’s flavour. “Apart from Atharvaa’s looks and Madurai slang, the audience will see various other things in the background that will be first-of-its-kind. In fact, we have shot a scene on how vibrant the city was during Ajith’s Viswasam release,” he revealed. Kuruthi Aatam is in its final stage of shooting and will release for summer this year.
