Trouble broke out when film personalities who went to sort out differences on behalf of Ilaiyaraaja were not allowed to enter the studios.

Reports say, studio authorities later agreed to meet film celebrities Bharathiraja, Bhagyaraj, Seeman, RK Selvamani and Ramesh Kannan to work out a solution.  

According to the reports, Ilaiyaraaja has been using the facility for nearly forty years, but stopped working there for sometime since the dispute began.
