CHENNAI: Even as Dhurandhar continues to run in theatres, the makers on Thursday announced that the uncut version of the film will begin streaming on Netflix from January 30. The film will be available in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

Written, directed and produced by Aditya Dhar, the film stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role, along with Sara Arjun, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt and R Madhavan, among others.

Produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar, Dhurandhar was released in theatres on December 5 and crossed a 56-day run at the box office in India and overseas. According to media reports, it has earned around Rs 890.67 crore domestically and about Rs 1,428 crore worldwide.

Dhurandhar follows a traveller who enters Karachi’s underworld, rises through its ranks, and works from within to dismantle the ISI–underworld nexus. While most viewers praised the film for its portrayal of patriotism, others criticised it as propaganda. Several film reviewers who took a dig at the film's theme faced the wrath from netizens.
