Devayani, who was last seen in NTR’s biopic is spending the lockdown by learning the traditional martial art of Silambattam aka Silambam.

There was speculation that the actress, who is shooting for Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film Love Story is learning the art for her next Tamil film. When we contacted her husband Rajakumaran, he said, “Devayani hasn’t decided on her next Tamil film and there is enough time for that. However, it is true that she has been learning Silambam.” Adding further, he told us with a laugh, “Initially, we enrolled our kids in Silambam classes so that they spend these days usefully. However, Devayani was left with no choice and she also ended up enrolling for the class.” The trio has been learning the art form through YouTube and has been taking online classes as well. Devayani, Rajakumaran, and their daughters Iniya and Priyanka have been confined to their farmhouse in Erode district.
