Recently, there were reports that popular producer PL Thenappan might sue the makers of Oscar Award winning Korean flick, Parasite, as the plot of the film resembles his 1999 Tamil film, Minsara Kanna, which featured Vijay in the lead role. Following this, CS Amudhan, the director of Tamizh Padam, took a light-hearted jibe on the issue. He took to Twitter and wrote, “It has been brought to my notice that certain elements of John Wick like his dog being killed to bring him back to his old job, strongly resemble key plot points of Tamizh Padam 2. We will keep all our legal options open.”
