Kollywood actor Benjamin who gained popularity after sharing screen space with actor Vadivelu in director Cheran's National Award winning film 'Vetri Kodi Kaattu' was recently admitted to a hospital in Salem. He reportedly suffered a heart attack and was receiving treatment for the same. After three days of treatment, Benjamin was advised to get further treatment at a private hospital in Bangalore.
Explaining the situation, the actor posted a video on social media where he sought financial aid from his fans and friends from the cine industry to help him for his treatment. He had apparently posted the video while he was on his way to Karnataka.
Benjamin is well known for his role as actor Vijay's friend in 'Thirupaachi' and a minor role in 'Bhagavathi'.
