Chennai: Despite ongoing economic crisis in Sri Lanka, Vijay-starrer 'Beast' has released in Colombo at over 50 theatres. Sri Lankan fans were excited to watch the film in theaters despite protests and political instability in the island country.
Even as ticket prices for the movie ranged from Rs 850 to Rs 3,000, fans were seeing bursting crackers and dancing to tunes in front of theatres in Jaffna.

Thalapathy Vijay's 'Beast' movie released worldwide today, and fans from all over the world flooded social media platforms with various posts releated to the movie. The movie stars Vijay and Pooja Hedge in the lead role, written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar.
