The latest we hear is that Ashwin has initiated talks with Samantha Akkineni for his third film, which will again be a women-centric one. A source close to the team says, “Ashwin recently met Samantha at her residence in Hyderabad and narrated the script. She loved it and immediately agreed to be part of it. However, she is yet to give him the dates. An official announcement will be made soon.” The source also added that Ashwin’s third film will be way different from his previous ones, which were intense and dark. “His third film will be simultaneously shot in Tamil and Telugu.” Meanwhile, Samantha is currently shooting for the sequel of the popular web series, The Family Man, in Hindi. She is also in talks for a Kannada film.
