Sources close to the movie unit have confirmed to DT Next that Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to compose the music for the film. “Makers approached Anirudh to compose for Vijay-Lokesh Kanagaraj film and he has gladly agreed to be a part of it.”
The source also added that Vijay 64 will be Anirudh’s biggest film in terms of his remuneration till date. If this happens, it will be Anirudh’s second collaboration with Thalapathy, as they have earlier worked together in Kaththi.
The film will be bankrolled by producer Xavier Britto and the shoot is expected to begin in a couple of months. We also hear that the makers of the film are planning to complete the project in a short period of time and aiming for a release in early 2020. The director of the film, Lokesh Kanagaraj made his debut in Tamil with critically-acclaimed Managaram, which starred Sundeep Kishan in the lead role.
