Anirudh takes up the Vaathistepu challenge

Music director Anirudh Ravichander shared a short clip on Twitter of himself performing the Vaathistepu dance along with musicians Keba Jermiah and Sajith Satya.

Tagging them in the video, Anirudh said, “Probably the worst three dancers doing the Vaathistepu challenge... Let’s see yours.” Vaathistepu is from the song Vaathi Coming in actor Vijay’s upcoming movie, Master. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film also features Malavika Mohanan, Vijay Sethupathi, Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthnu, Arjun Das, VJ Ramya and Gouri G Kishan in important roles.


The song has gone viral, clocking over 8.6 million views since its release, while Anirudh’s video on Twitter grossed over 2.6 lakh views. Lokesh responded to the tweet by sharing a clip of himself performing the dance with the musician. Thanking Anirudh, the filmmaker said, “Vaathi Coming hits 9 million views.”
