Its known that the film is all set to be remade in Bollywood and many A-list actors were waiting to get the remake rights of it. Now, there are speculations that actor Ajay Devgn has been roped in to reprise Karthi’s role in the Hindi remake and Lokesh Kanagaraj will be directing the Hindi version as well. However, when contacted the producer of the film, SR Prabhu, he denied it.

It is also worth noting that Lokesh has already started working on the pre-production of the film’s sequel in Tamil, which will also have Karthi in the lead.
