Aditi replaces Sam in Maha Samudram

It’s been only a few days since Samantha announced that she would be sharing screen space with lady Superstar Nayanthara for the first time in her upcoming film with director Vignesh Shivn. The latest we hear is that the Oh Baby star has apparently opted out of her Telugu film, Maha Samudram, which she had signed a month ago.

Sources also reveal that the makers have already approached Aditi Rao Hydari for the same role. “Samantha was quite excited about the project as she loved the script. However, since Vignesh Shivn’s project came her way, she walked out of her Telugu film, citing date issues. Now, the makers are in talks with Aditi Rao to play the female lead. However, nothing has been finalised yet.” Sharwanand, who is basking on the success of 96 Telugu remake, Jaanu, has been roped in to play the protagonist in the film.
