Dhanush's 'Rowdy Baby' achieves new milestone on the 9th year anniversary of 'Why this Kolaveri di'

'Rowdy Baby' from Dhanush's 'Maari 2' is a peppy and addictive song that has gained international recognition and became a favorite number for many across the world.

After creating multiple records in YouTube, Dhanush's 'Rowdy Baby' song has now achieved a new milestone by becoming the first South Indian song to reach 1 billion views.  

Coincidentally, it is the 9th year anniversary of Dhanush's another famous number 'Why this Kolaveri di' today.  

The actor took to his official Twitter handle to express his heartfelt happiness. His post read, "What a sweet coincidence this is Rowdy baby hits 1 billion views on same day of the 9th anniversary of Kolaveri di. We are honoured that this is the first South Indian song to reach 1 billion views. Our whole team thanks you from the heart."

Actress Sai Pallavi posted on her Twitter page, "Thank you all for owning Rowdy baby 1 Billion love and counting."
