Sadak 2, was released on Disney+ Hotstar on August 28, 2020. The movie garnered negative reviews from critics as well as fans from the very beginning.
This movie is a sequel to Bollywood blockbuster Sadak released in the year 1991. Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt reprise their role in Sadak 2. It also stars Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapoor in lead roles and directed by Mahesh Butt.
Earlier when the trailer was released it became the second highest disliked video in Youtube history.
Sadak 2 received outrage from fans due to the alleged suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput who was an "outsider" in the Bollywood film industry. Kangana Ranaut and few other actors called on nepotism debate before the movie was released on OTT platform. The film scored 98% in Nepometer, an app released by Sushant's family.
On top of it the recent Whatsapp chat conversations between Rhea Chakraborthy, rumoured girlfriend of Sushant Singh Rajput and Mahesh Bhatt made fans angry.
'Dil Bechara', the last movie of Sushant Singh Rajput released on Disney+ Hotstar received loads of appreciation and scored 8.9/10 in IMDB rating.
