The poster of Aishwarya Rajesh’s next, titled Thittam Irandu aka Plan B , was released by Vijay Sethupathi on Thursday. The poster had her image made of fingerprints.

However, the actress without divulging too much about the movie told DT Next, “I wouldn’t say that Thittam Irandu only revolves around forensics. It is surrounded by mystery. You would see a lot of suspense and twists unfolding one after the other.”

Talking about playing the lead in a woman-centric film, she said, “Shouldering a female centric film isn’t a joke. Especially after quarantine, where people are exposed to international films, we need to give them a unique content to bring them to theatres even the audience from the rural areas in the state have access to good films via OTT. Director Vignesh Karthik has done that with Thittam Irandu. He will make a mark in K’town. Such films are needed to show the audience that they could come to theatres to watch a film that doesn’t always feature their matinee idol.”

Produced by Dinesh Kannan of Sixer Entertainment and Vinod Kumar of Mini Studios, the team has wrapped up a schedule in Chennai. “The film will be completely shot in the city. We have 30 more days of shoot left before we call it wraps,” added Aishwarya.

She concluded saying that she has been watching quite a lot of films this lockdown. “To an extent that there are hardly any films left to be watched.”
