Actor and Makkal Needhi Maiam party founder Kamal Haasan provided compensation for the 4 crew members who died during Indian-2 shooting to their families.

Tragedy struck on February 19 this year when the crane collapsed on crew members injuring many, it proved to be fatal for few namely Madhu (29), Chandran (60) and Krishna (34).

Kamal Haasan along with Shankar donated a sum of 1 crore each to the 4 bereaving families.
