Trisha to team up with Shankar for a movie in 2022

Trisha Krishnan has been shooting for her first web series titled Brindha for a leading OTT platform. The actress completed dubbing for Ponniyin Selvan and is awaiting the release of Raangi.

The latest we hear is that the actress will be signing a film that will be directed by Shankar and will be launched in January 2022.

While there is no confirmation on this yet, sources say that the actress would play the female lead in the Hindi remake of Anniyan or it will be a fresh project that will go on floors once the director finishes his current movies.

Shankar also has Indian 2 in the pipeline that is expected to resume in the first half of 2022. We will have to wait for an official confirmation from the makers themselves to know more about the project.
