Man tries to sell his girlfriend on eBay, prank backfires as bid reaches £70,200
After getting angry with his girlfriend, a man named Dale listed her for sale on a shopping website. Dale described his girlfriend using sentences like: “No serious damage but you can see she’s been used,” and claimed he felt the post wouldn’t draw serious attention. However, the prank backfired and within 24 hours, it got more than 81,000 times and nearly 100 bids were made with the price reaching to Rs 68 lakh (£70,200). However, eBay stepped in and removed the post citing that the sale did not match with their human body parts and remains policy. Last heard, Dale managed to placate Kelly by saying, ‘Something I should say is I wouldn’t sell her and love her to bits.’
#Fallingstar challenge goes viral among luxury-loving Instagrammers
A bizarre challenge is once again trending in the online photo sharing platform Instagram. The hashtag that is reported to be originated from Russia became extremely popular among the wealthy Russians to show off their assets. In #fallingstar2018 or #fallingstarschallenge people post pictures of them falling flat on the ground from their super-luxurious private planes, yacht or luxury cars. Participants of the challenge make the picture appear as though they’ve really experienced a bad fall with their faces turned towards the ground. Along with them are seen spilt or scattered expensive beauty products, luxury watches, perfumes and even packed food. However, there have been many spoofs as well with ‘poorer’ folk posting falling pics with pots, pans and brooms.
