Actors Dhanush, Sivakarthikeyan, Vishal, Prashanth, Sathyaraj, Dulquer Salmaan with his wife Amal and directors P Vasu, Dharani, Vikraman and producers R B Choudhary and S Thanu were among the guests who graced the occasion. 

Speaking at the event, Vishal, who is also the president of both Nadigar Sangam and Producers’ Council, requested the mediapersons to publish the movie reviews at least three days after the film hits the screens so that the box-office collection is not affected. 

Rajinikanth, in his usual style, narrated a story, explaining how critics can do justice to their profession without being harsh with their words and hurting the filmmakers. He also asked film distributors to be wary of producers’ words when it comes to business. 

Neruppuda, directed by debutant Ashok Kumar, has music by Sean Roldan.
