CHENNAI: BJP national executive committee member and a member of NCW, actor Khushbu Sundar has decided to stay away from the Lok Sabha poll campaigns, citing health grounds. BJP’s star campaigner Khushbu on Sunday wrote to the party’s national president JP Nadda and informed him that she has to pause her campaign activities due to a health issue.

“As I’m suffering from tailbone fracture since 2019, I was strictly advised by my medical team not to campaign as that would aggravate and worsen my condition. With a heavy heart, I must announce a pause in my active participation in the current election campaign,” she said in a letter.

“I believe in facing our challenges with courage and making decisions that are in the best interest of all, including my health. Your encouragement fuels my spirit and strengthens my resolve to come back stronger. I promise to keep you all updated on my recovery and return soon,” she noted hinting that she will be actively involved through her social network.
