A picture showing Mahatma Gandhi with a young Dalai Lama is going viral. The Facebook users are sharing the image believing it to be true.

On reverse image search, it was found that the picture of Dalai Lama was superimposed on the picture of Mahatma Gandhi. The picture of Gandhi was taken on November 3, 1931 when he visited London to attend a conference on Indian constitutional reforms.

The picture of Dalai lama in which he was four years old, was taken at Kumbum Monastery in Amdo, eastern Tibet.

According to reports, Dalai Lama had revealed that he had not met Gandhi but has seen him in a dream.
