Last week, an IAS officer tweeted a video of a man walking through a crowded arena, with a robot following behind him. The onlookers are seen taking pictures of the robot. The message said, “King of Bahrain’s bodyguard robot is going viral. AI replacing humans very fast!” Alt News found that the video actually pertained to a robot named Titan that greeted visitors at UAE International Security Exhibition in Abu Dhabi, in Feb 2019. The robot came out every one hour to greet them.
