A screengrab of a TV channel infographic has gone viral. It reads, “Home Minister said after June 15, there could be a total lockdown. Train and air travel will be banned.” Alt News found that it was a morphed infographic claiming the Home Ministry had issued this notification. Had the Centre taken this call, it would have been covered by major media and officially declared. The fact-checking wing of PIB also tweeted that the news is false.
