Accepting requests from passengers that a premium train like Tejas should offer entertainment, SR has provided Wi-Fi enabled entertainment box, ‘Magicbox’, which allows passengers to access 500 hours of entertainment using their mobile phones. Initially, SR had provided seat-mounted infotainment system on Tejas Express. However, there were complaints about malfunctioning. The Railway Board instructed discontinuation of seat-mounted infotainment systems, attributing it to difficulties in updating the software. The Magicbox would have movies, kids content and music, besides information on government schemes.
