Violation of electoral rules: Case filed against Thanga Tamilselvan

Case was filed against Thanga Tamilselvan and his party cadres for violation of electoral rules during campaign.

The flying squad in-charge of Andipatti constituency, Nagarathinam had filed a complaint against the AMMK's cadres, in Andipatti police station.

It was reported that the complaint was raised since the party workers were travelling in more than the allowed number of vehicles during their election campaign in Andipatti.

In yet another incident, a complaint was raised in Bodinayakkanur town police station, that AMMK's fleet of campaign vehicles is disrupting the traffic. Hence the police had filed a case on AMMK's candidate Thanga Tamilselvan.

Similarly, another case was filed against Thanga Tamilselvan in Koodalur lower camp, for campaigning past 10 pm, which is against the electoral norms.
