“The Madras High Court has taken up a suo moto case of bad road condition between Maduravoyal and Walajapet and came down heavily on the National Highways Authority for not maintaining the road properly. The case is a classic example to show how toll plazas are functioning as approved centres of swindling public money,” said Ramadoss. He also demanded the Centre to ensure that toll plazas, which fail to maintain roads should stop collecting fee.
