TN Legislative Assembly to take place from Sept 14 to Sept 16: Speaker Dhanapal

The speaker said that the session will commence at 10am on September 14. During the session condolences will be extended to the dead followed by question and answer session.

Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Speaker Dhanapal announced that the assembly session will take place for three days from September 14 to September 16. The decision was taken during the official review meeting headed by the Speaker on Tuesday.

The speaker said that the session will commence at 10am on September 14. During the session condolences will be extended to the dead followed by question and answer session.

On September 15, the session will debate on granted permission for various Government departments. He also said that the members of the legislature will be tested for COVID19 before the meeting.

Earlier, Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit announced that the assembly session will be held in Kalaignar Arivalayam on September 14. Assembly sessions were postponed in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
