Veerammal was third time lucky in 2019 as her earlier two attempts at the local body polls proved to be failures. Despite defeat, Veerammal kept her hope of becoming the president of Arittapatti and her confidence and strong belief in her capabilities paid rich dividends this time. A beaming Veerammal received the winning certificate from the election authority standing as a proof for the saying age is no barrier. Veerammal is full of promise to render services to her fellow villagers with the support of government welfare schemes.
