M Selvaraj (47), a jeweller from Ooranipuram near Pattukkottai had checked in a hotel in Tiruchy with his wife Chellam (43) and his sons Nikil (20) and Mukil (14).  Police said, Selvaraj had reportedly called up one of his relatives Guru Ganesh and had informed about his decision to end his life as well as that of his family. His wife Chellam, sons Nikil and Mukil were found death with their necks slashed. Police retrieved the bodies and rushed Selvaraj to GH. A suicide note was recovered.
