Tamil Nadu: 4 IPS officers transferred

CHENNAI: The Home department transferred four IPS officers in a minor shuffle on Monday.

DGP Pramod Kumar, who currently serves as the chief vigilance officer of Tangedco, will replace IG V Jeyashri as the DGP of civil defence and commandant general, Home Guards, Chennai.

IG Jeyashri has been posted as the IG of the State Crime Record Bureau.

ADGP of SCRB Ayush Mani Tiwari will take over as the chief vigilance officer of the Tangedco.

Meanwhile, Tiruchy range Deputy Inspector General of Police has been transferred to the vacant post of DIG crime branch, CID, Chennai.
