Several express trains to run with changes via Tiruchy: Southern Railway

Southern Railway advised passengers to check the revised schedules before planning their travel

CHENNAI: Southern Railway has announced changes in the services of several express trains due to maintenance work being carried out in various sections of the Tiruchy division, according to Daily Thanthi.

According to the railway authorities, the SeSengottai–Mayiladuthurai Express (Train No. 16848) will operate with changes from Thursday (March 12) to March 17. The Mumbai CSTM Express (Train No. 12666) will run with changes on Thursday (March12) and March 15.

Similarly, the Kanniyakumari–Howrah Ativi Raivu Express (Train No. 16128) will operate with revised services on Friday and Saturday,Tiruchythe Guruvayur–Chennai Egmoreoperate with revised services on Friday and Saturday, while the Guruvayur–Chennai Egmore Express (Train No. 16128) will run with changes from Thursday to March 15.

The Kanniyakumari–Hyderabad Special (Train No. 07229) will run on Friday (March 13) via Madurai, Manamadurai, and Karaikudi and will reach Tiruchy.

Further, the Coimbatore–Nagercoil Express (Train No. 16322) will operate on Saturday (March 14) via Karur, Tirchy, Karaikudi, Manamadurai, and Virudhunagar.

Meanwhile, the Thiruvananthapuram Central–Tiruchirappalli Superfast Intercity Express (Train No. 22628) will run on March 18 via Virudhunagar, Manamadurai, and Madurai.
