The Thoothukudi district court has rejected the bail plea of SI Balakrishnan.

Officer Sridhar and SI Balakrishnan were among the 10 accused in the Sathankulam father-son murders of grocer Jeyaraj and Bennix. The 2 cops moved for their bail.

Sridhar however backtracked his bail plea, SI Balakrishnan's plea came to scrutiny. The Thoothukudi bench rejected his plea.

Special Sub Inspector Paldurai's bail plea comes for hearing on Thursday.

As far as the investigation is concerned, CBI is in the process of procuring the deleted video tapes and head constable Revathi is being enquired.
