Rahul Gandhi to launch poll campaign in Tamil Nadu on March 13

The Tamil Nadu unit of Congress organised a meeting to discuss about the upcoming elections, on Saturday, at the party headquarters.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi will launch the party's election campaign in Tamil Nadu on March 13.

According to a party release, “A meeting with parliamentary election co-ordination committee, campaign committee, advertisement committee, media coordination committee and election management committee, would be held at the party headquarters on Saturday. TNCC chief KS Alagiri and KR Ramasamy, floor leader of the assembly will take part in the same.”

TNCC President KS Alagiri held a meeting of party leaders including P Chidambaram, former presidents S Thirunavukkarasar and EVKS Elangovan at the Satyamurthy Bhavan to prepare for the event.

The campaign launch venue will be decided shortly, Alagiri said after the meeting.
