Pandemic taught me to re-learn my working life: Premji

The pandemic has taught me to re-learn my 55 years of working life and Education and Learning’ is a life-long process and the young graduates must take charge of their education, said Azim Premji, the Founder Chairman of Wipro during the e-convocation of NIT, Tiruchy on Saturday.

Addressing the graduates of NIT, Tiruchy, Azim Premji pointed out that most of his outstanding colleagues over the past 40 years have been alumni from NIT, Tiruchy. He said that this pandemic has taught him to re-learn his 55 years of working life. He urged the graduates to think critically, work hard with commitment and said that thousands of people who have worked round the clock for the past seven months at great risk to their lives had the best life time experience. He urged the graduates to become ‘Leaders of Change’ for this country, so that the change would truly enable a just, equitable, and humane society.

The Director, NIT-T Mini Shaji Thomas conferred the degrees to 1777 students after the Chairperson, Board of Governors of the Institute, Bhaskar Bhat has inaugurated the convocation.
