KANNIYAKUMARI: A college student has petitioned the district police superintendent, alleging that a medical staff member at Asaripallam Government Hospital has been repeatedly subjecting him to sexual harassment.
A 23-year-old man from the Kottar area of Nagercoil, pursuing an MSc, stated that he has been working part-time for more than a year at the hospital and a senior colleague has been forcing him to engage in a same-sex relationship. The senior had sexually harassed the survivor on the bus, sent obscene messages and issued threats too.
Following the incident, it is also reported that the private company concerned suspended the employee facing the allegations.
