Manifesto will echo voices of all sections, says Kanimozhi

The DMK has commenced its preparation to draft the election manifesto for the upcoming 2026 Assembly elections with a meeting chaired by Kanimozhi at Anna Arivalayam, the DMK headquarters, on Monday.

CHENNAI: The manifesto that the ruling DMK will present before the public will have all vital aspects ranging from industrial growth to environment protection, said K Kanimozhi, the party's deputy general secretary, who is heading the manifesto preparation committee.

The panel she is heading would tour the State to gather opinions and suggestions from various sections of the public, added the DMK MP.

The DMK has commenced its preparation to draft the election manifesto for the upcoming 2026 Assembly elections with a meeting chaired by Kanimozhi at Anna Arivalayam, the DMK headquarters, on Monday.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Kanimozhi said the committee had charted out a plan to tour the State to meet people from various sections of society and gather their opinions.

She said the manifesto would cover all aspects, including job creation and environmental protection.

The members of the committee met and greeted Chief Minister and party president MK Stalin, who came to Anna Arivalayam when the meeting was proceeding.

The 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly election is expected to be highly competitive, with the ruling DMK, the opposition AIADMK, and other regional parties and alliances intensifying their groundwork.

The manifesto will play a central role in communicating the party’s vision and development agenda to the electorate.
