CMRL invites tender to prepare DPR for Madurai city

For the Metro rail project in Madurai city, the CMRL has made a call for reputed, experienced, financially sound and eligible applicants to apply for bidding.

CHENNAI: The Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has recently floated tenders for selection of consultants to prepare the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for Mass Rapid Transport System (MRTS) in Madurai.

For the metro rail project in Madurai city, CMRL has made a call for reputed, experienced, financially sound and eligible applicants to apply for bidding.

As per feasibility study, the Madurai metro rail Phase 1 is planned for 29 km with 17 stations. However, the current consultant is being called for Phase 2.
