Raghavan, former general secretary of Tamil Nadu BJP, had quit his post on Wednesday after a sleaze video of him went viral. After the incident, a man visited the Chengalpattu SP office and filed a complaint against Raghavan stating the latter used to make regular video calls to his wife inappropriately and when he asked to stop it, Raghavan allegedly threatened him over the phone. The man said recently his wife was kidnapped by Raghavan.

However, within hours of the news about the complaint was flashed on TV channels, the woman claiming to be the wife of the complainant, submitted a rejoinder at the SP office. She said the complaint of her husband was not true and that he is mentally affected. She also claimed that she was trying to get a divorce from him.
