The Commissioner of the Department has been asked to contact her father and to provide her the employment based on her educational qualification,” said Saroja, while addressing reporters, after conducting marriage for 48 differently-abled couple in Royapettah.

The incident happened on November 11 when an AIADMK flagpole fell on the road and Rajeswari, trying to avoid it, fell on the road and went under the wheels of a lorry. Following the incident, she was admitted in the ICU and recently one of her legs was amputated.
