Surendran Natarajan of 'Karuppar Koottam' has been ordered to stay in judicial custody for 30 days.

After bringing him to Chennai from Puducherry he was presented before Magistrate Roslin at her residence Royapuram.

Earlier, Senthilvasan who too belonged to the channel was arrested on Wednesday night.

The controversial video on Lord Murugan's hymn 'Kandha Shashti Kavasam' in the Youtube channel received opprobrium from various sections of the society.

Tamil Nadu BJP lodged a complaint against Surendran, who hosted the series of shows that showed Hindu faith in bad light.
