CHENNAI: Minister for Natural Resources S Regupathy on Tuesday alleged that the statement issued by Governor Ravi soon after he walked out of the Assembly was pre-planned.

Briefing reporters at the Secretariat, Regupathy said the Governor’s statement was released within 10 minutes of his exit from the House, indicating it had been prepared in advance.

“The statement was issued by Lok Bhavan within 10 minutes of the Governor leaving the Assembly hall.

This clearly shows that everything was pre-planned,” the minister alleged. “The Governor is blaming the Dravidian model government because this is an election year,” Regupathy said.
